ANNUAL COMMUNITY 12 HOUR NIGHT RUN

Every year Diamond Valley Railway runs continuously for twelve hours all the way from 11am to 11pm. All the proceeds from this event are donated to local charities. The donations will be made on the day.

The next annual Community Night Run will be held on Sunday 10th March 2024 from 11am-11pm

Please note that Nillumbik SES will be assisting with parking, please follow their directions upon entering and exiting the park. All tickets are $4. Please follow the instructions of DVR and SES volunteers to ensure that your ride on the miniature trains is safe and enjoyable.

There are multiple BBQ's around the park but these are first come, first serve and are very popular. Otherwise we suggest bringing a picnic down and enjoying it in the beautiful Eltham Lower Park before going for an evening train ride.

Bolton Street food options (5 minute walk from the Railway):
Bolton Street Fish & Chips - Open Midday until 8pm
Al's Pizza - https://als-pizza.com.au/ - Open 11am until 9pm
Chicken on Charcoal (Bolton Street) - 10am until 8:30pm

There will be many other family friendly restaurants open within a short drive from Eltham Lower Park including The Main Cafe, Bar and Restaurant and Lower Plenty Hotel Bistro.
