Based on the New South Wales Government Railway (SRA) 81 class Diesel Electric. The locomotive is fitted with an air brake (for parking). An air horn is fitted. Painted in the distinct and colourful livery of the Bicentennial colour scheme of grey under the main frame, and red, orange, white body with a grey roof. This loco was the first diesel outline loco to be custom built for DVR to the railway's exact specifications.
