Model of Victorian Railways multi-purpose diesel-electric locomotive. Each bogie is fitted with two traction motors with final chain drive to all wheels with lay shafts. Air brakes, and a air horn is fitted. Painted in standard V.R. blue and gold.
Originally fitted with a Ford 10 engine, this was replaced by a Toyota engine in the last 1980's. Again the loco is in for a major rebuild, this time with a 3 cylinder diesel engine. It will also have full time MU control as well.
